Minnesota Public Radio began its audio journey to connect Minnesota and the world from the third floor of Wimmer Hall on the campus of Saint John’s University on January 22, 1967.  I joined the sales team at Minnesota Public Radio on November 1, 1999.   I work from  the very same offices.

My job is to assist folks in the process of “reaching our unique audience with their unique message”.  To that end,  we offer a fifteen second “underwriting announcement” on air and online advertising.  We even offer a short audio message in front our podcasts and live streaming.  Underwriting is a way of supporting MPR and introducing your business to our listeners.  More than just a commerical announcement, underwriting makes it clear that programming would not exist without the sponsor’s support, something the audience notices and appreciates.  Underwriting messages have to  maintain a “non-commercial” feel and may include the business name, a brief description of the business or service plus location and contact information.

A complete media kit is available by clicking on the sub-page “Media Kit”.  Contact me if you have any questions.
